Pricing for courses
Two ways to pay for a course.
Your students pay, and the course is free for you. Or you pay with AI credits, and the course is free for your students. You choose when you set up the course.

Good to know
- Credits: every new account gets 5,000 free credits, plus 500 free every month. After that, $2 per 1,000 credits.
- Multiple choice and fill in the blank never take credits, whoever pays.
- If you change a course from Students pay to credits, the AI it used so far comes off your credits.
- After a student pays, the course stays Students pay, and you can't delete it before its last day.
- Students already in the course pay too, before their next quiz. You and your co-teachers never pay.
- Changes you make from ChatGPT, Claude or the CLI use your own credits in every course.
